About Us

 

Jennifer Blendermann Nelson and Kristen Johnson Dull met nearly twenty years ago riding equitation as junior exhibitors.  As the years passed, their passion for horses grew despite periodic breaks for college, careers, and life changes.  Their love of horses led them back together and the idea of Midwest Saddleseat Consignment Apparel blossomed.  As exhibitors, we all experience growth spurts, desperately searching for appropriate pieces for catch rides, or realize, at the last minute, that we have lost our vest or gained a few extra pounds.  Over the years, closets seem to accumulate vests, shirts, and suits that are no longer worn and they just gather dust. We decided there needed to be a place where people solve these dilemmas and find elegant riding apparel at an affordable price.  Our goal is to help our horse family on both ends by creating a new look for the show season, as well as allowing competitors to achieve a return on their suiting investments.

Jennifer currently rides at Bob Jensen Stables under the direction of Linda Jensen showing in adult equitation and pleasure division.  Kristen relocated to Iowa and rides under the direction of Timber Hills Farm with Mark and Renee Van Zomeran in the show pleasure division.  Jen and Kristen are just having a blast rediscovering their horse show roots!
